Disadvantages
Not only does the app fail in doing the primary function I purchased it for (removing eyeglass picture background), but the team is completely unresponsive and will ignore your every attempt to contact them

I honestly would not recommend this app or this company to my worst enemy. I have never experienced or come across such a dishonest person in my life.
Over a year ago I contacted Sean Toussi, the CEO, about using the app for my specific use case of capturing pictures of eyeglasses and removing the background automatically so that I can post these pictures on my website.
Soon after using the app it was clear that it would not be able to complete the primary function I purchased, which is removing the background from pictures. When I contacted Sean, he suggested a few tips to try, and he mentioned that if they didnt work, he would provide a full refund as I would be unable to make use of the app.
After trying the tips he mentioned it became clear that the app simply could not remove the background of eyeglasses. When this became evident, I reached out to him to process my refund and that’s when I started experiencing the true “Glo3d” customer service. In true fashion, he stopped responding to emails, Whatsapp messages and phone calls. I even had my wife reach out to their team and while they were extremely responsive initially, as soon as they found out she was related to me, they stopped responding to anything.
The way Sean and his team have dealt with this issue is truly indicative of the type of dishonest people they are. Instead of having the courage to respond and deny the refund they promised, they just ignore you.
What’s even worse is that their entire business model and pricing strategy has since changed. When I originally purchased the app last year, it was on the basis of pictures. I paid $2000 for 2000 pictures. Since my purchase, I haven't used a single image (because none turned out well), but yet I have been charged 49 credits (not even sure what the credit refers to!). The only thing I have done with the app is to take numerous pictures, play around with them trying to get the background removed properly, then delete them. Furthermore, some of the key features that I paid for the app, namely removing the background, have since been removed and are no longer an option.
At this point, even though it will cost me more than I paid for the app, I will be pursuing legal action against this company as their behavior has been completely unacceptable.
I share this experience with you all so that no one makes the same mistake I made. Stay away from this app and this company. You have been warned!
